A week with Beautiful Affliction

A-Week-with-Lene-Fogelberg-6

This week I have been guest author on best-selling author Terri Giuliano Long’s blog. It was a tremendous honor to be invited to join her on her wonderful blog and this week I have been amazed time and again by the beautiful ways my book was presented, it brought tears to my eyes more than once!

A-Week-With-Lene-Fogelberg

The week started off with my guest blog post “Writing My Way Out of the Silence”.

And then eight quotes from Beautiful Affliction, which even was made into a small video!

After which, came an excerpt from my book, chapter 1, beautifully illustrated.

And lastly, eight more quotes, with one more video!

Lene Fogelberg quote 1

I am so very grateful to Terri, for this opportunity, and of course, for the beautiful endorsement she offered after reading Beautiful Affliction:

“In her breathtaking memoir, Beautiful Affliction, Lene Fogelberg elegantly unites the savagery and raw beauty of the natural world with the wisdom and poignant insight of a young wife and mother for whom each moment, whether or not she realizes it, may be her last. Exquisite imagery and poetic prose pulse through this powerful, emotionally gripping story. With Beautiful Affliction, Lene Fogelberg gives us a gorgeously written story to savor and share, while adding her shimmering, deeply intelligent voice to the literary pantheon.”

—TERRI GIULIANO LONG, author of USA Today bestseller In Leah’s Wake

There will be an excerpt of Terri’s endorsement on the back cover of Beautiful Affliction, and the full quote will be in the “Praise for” pages in the beginning of my book.

Only four more weeks until publication day! Very exciting!

Lene
