Introducing The Token Tree
The NI revolution is gaining momentum and spreading across the world, followed by mob rule, massive wildfires, and chaos. World leaders come together in a desperate attempt to find a swift solution that might save both lives and the planet. Flora Reed, the tree-talker, is invited as an expert witness but is soon forced to question who she can truly trust. In the end, she realizes that the only way to save the Earth is to risk everything and head right into the heart of the conflict.
In the third installment of The NI Revolution Trilogy, Flora must narrowly escape death, uncover hidden agendas, and mobilize all her newfound abilities to stop mutual destruction of humanity and nature. In the final moments, only Flora stands between everything living and the apocalypse.
Looking Back on the Journey
Writing this trilogy has been a long journey, and I want to thank you for the incredible support you’ve shown along the way. Your reviews, messages, and enthusiasm for books 1 and 2 have meant more to me than I can express. I was especially honored when the first book in the trilogy, The Lightning Tree, received a ”GET IT” verdict from KIRKUS Reviews and was awarded a gold medal from the Moonbeam Book Awards. Both book 1 and book 2 also topped various lists on Amazon, something I’m immensely grateful for.
A Little Backstory
Reaching book three has been especially meaningful. The release took longer than originally planned due to health challenges along the way. In 2024, I underwent my third open heart surgery, followed by a prolonged and demanding recovery. During that time, this story stayed with me, quietly waiting. Returning to it when I was able felt like coming back to myself, and finishing The Token Tree is something I’m profoundly thankful for.
What’s Next?
This spring also brings another exciting release: the Swedish edition of Beautiful Affliction, translated by me. Om det vackra will be released on April 28, and I can’t wait to share more about it with you soon!
